I completed my medical training at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London and it was there I was first drawn to the idea of general practice. It became important to me that I could provide a continuity of care and really build an understanding of each patient individually, as well as their role in their own family unit. Having been a partner in a medical practice, I soon realised how crucial it is to know everything about your patients, be able to help them on their medical journey and as a result really make a difference to their wellbeing.

After 20 years in London, my husband and I moved to Hampshire in 2012. Together with our two energetic boys we take advantage of our position in the countryside, making the most of the outdoors and the community we live in. I’ve always been a keen cricketer, and in my ‘spare’ time I coach the local boys’ team, in the winter playing hockey for Winchester Hockey Club. My family, my friends, and the community in which I live and work are a critical foundation in supporting how I approach everything I do.
